Those of us at Niagara’s Watercooler didn’t want to be left out in the cold, so to speak. So, we took a snow day yesterday. Why should the kids get to have all the fun? Yes, maybe that was our second weather-related day off in the last week or so, but this one was by choice. Last week’s was out of our control as the war room at Watercooler Central was completely without power. Yesterday, we just didn’t feel like fighting the drifts on the way to the office.

Looking Back at the Watercooler's 2016
As 2016 comes to a close, we’re going to take a look back the the past year at Niagara’s Watercooler. Sure, we have not been around for the full year, but we have been around for most of it. And if you know us, you know that we have a lot to say...all the time. In fact, some people may say we talk too much. Well, in defiance of those people, and in support of all our wonderful readers, we’re going to go ahead a talk about our year anyway.

Watercooler Partner Could Have Damaged Big Money Chances
Niagara Watercooler co-owner and co-founder George Root has issued a statement regarding the pending sale of the social website to Media Alliance of the Great Lakes Basin:
Employees of the Watercooler have noticed the tension in the air the past couple of weeks, especially when Root turned Bacon's office into a storage closet when Bacon was away on vacation. Staffers report that they are hoping the two can put their differences behind them and allow the transaction to be finalized sometime in June.
Mr. Bacon, according to Mr. Root, was unavailable for comment.

I stopped following Craig Bacon on Twitter because of his inconsideration of the privacy requested about the sale of Niagara Watercooler to the Media Alliance of the Great Lakes Basin. Media Alliance general partners Rex Taylor and Jim "The Hammer" Prescott made it clear that this arrangement was not to be made public to anyone until it was completed. Mr. Bacon has been going around to everyone he knows repeatedly saying "We're gonna be rich." Word of Bacon's betrayal got back to Taylor and Prescott and now the transaction is in jeopardy. It is inconsiderate actions like this that make it impossible for me to work with Mr. Bacon. He's a selfish jerk, and he may have ruined the best chance we had at writing for a living.

Is the Cooler Drained?
Staff members at Niagara's Watercooler have reported that there has been increased animosity between co-founders, George Root and Craig Bacon. According to anonymous sources, a Twitter war broke out between Bacon and Root stemming directly from Root's decision last week to stop following Bacon.
The exchange continued into the evening with the back and forth getting more heated as time went on.
While it appears that the newly formed relationship may be on shaky ground, other sources within the staff of Niagara's Watercooler have revealed that there has been some interest by an outside party to purchase the blog with Root and Bacon retaining creative control. Calls to both men went unanswered.
The rest of the staff at Niagara's Watercooler hopes the disagreement is settled soon, with focus returning to a prospective merger with Media Alliance of the Great Lakes Basin. Further details will be forthcoming as we learn more.

@georgenroot3 seems to talk a lot, but that's about it. Maybe he should focus on quality writing instead— Craig Bacon (@hippieboy73) March 31, 2016
It is my understanding that @hippieboy73 has his youngest daughter (six years old - I believe) write his content for him. That explains alot— George Root (@georgenroot3) March 31, 2016
Sure @georgenroot3 my 6 yr old writes my stuff, but she's got talent. Maybe you're jealous??— Craig Bacon (@hippieboy73) March 31, 2016
Reading @georgenroot3 is like reading Dick & Jane. See Dick run. See George run. George loves Dick.— Craig Bacon (@hippieboy73) March 31, 2016
@hippieboy73 If I wrote you into a story, I would elevate your personality by making you into bird droppings on my windshield— George Root (@georgenroot3) March 31, 2016
